Project Heights

What began as an opportunity to unlock the potential beneath an existing home has been transformed into a beautifully resolved lower level extension that feels anything but an afterthought.

This build under renovation introduced three new spaces to the home: a fully appointed laundry, built in robes, and a private master ensuite, united by a consistent and considered material palette that runs seamlessly from room to room.

The standout moment is the ensuite, where bold zellige inspired blue tiles make a confident statement against cool grey stone format tiles, a floating timber vanity and a marble veined stone benchtop. An oval mirror and chrome tapware bring the space to a refined finish, graphic and warm at once, and entirely unexpected for a space of this scale.

The laundry is the kind of room that reframes how a home functions. Floor to ceiling timber cabinetry with brushed hardware conceals appliances and maximises storage without sacrificing an ounce of style. A deep undermount sink set into a marble look stone benchtop sits beneath a splash of the same blue tile, a deliberate echo that connects the two wet areas and gives the renovation a sense of intentional design thinking throughout.
